Grade A natural Jadeite pendant on a rope necklace. The jadeite is carved into a Pixiu (). Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being. This piece of Jadeite has icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, super pure, smooth and fine texture that looks gelatinous, and incredible luster! It has light green undertone with beautiful green marbling. PLEASE NOTE on the Pixiu's right ear, there is a small tool scuff and can be felt when running your figure over it. Even though, it is not noticeable but we want to make sure this is fully disclosed. The closeup of the imperfection is shown in photos. Please only buy if you are OK with this imperfection. The carving is all done by hand with beautiful designs and intricate details. This is all natural with ZERO treatment! This is a relatively large and thick piece! Please refer to the photos for details and measurements. It is tied on a beige colored rope necklace ready to wear and it is adjustable up to about 26".
