Madigan Medical Center is a U.S. Army hospital located on Joint Base Lewis-McChord near Tacoma, Washington. As a tertiary care referral center and teaching facility, it provides healthcare services to active duty military personnel, retirees, veterans, and their families. The medical center offers various specialties including cardiology, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, psychiatry, and trauma surgery among others. It is one of the largest U.S. Army hospitals in the world with over 600 beds. Madigan Medical Center is also affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine for residency training and research programs.
